Dixie Converting Corporation was established in 1978 to accommodate a growing need in the paper industry for slit and twisted paper. We are located approximately 50 miles west of Atlanta in Carrollton, Georgia. Our offices and warehouse occupy over 200,000 square feet with 190,000 square feet used for warehousing and production. Our production capabilities include Narrow Width Slitting, General Slitting, Sheeting, Twisting and Printing. We provide a variety of paper and board grades to a diverse market. Our services include contractual converting. Our shipping and receiving docks are designed to handle six trucks simultaneously while our rail spur, serviced by Norfolk Southern Railway, will accommodate five cars. We provide computerized inventory tracking for both shipping and receiving. We maintain digital dock scales to verify inbound and outbound freight. Dixie Converting's computer and administrative systems are custom designed for the roll paper converting industry. Our staff is experienced and well trained to provide the information or documentation required by our customers for responsive order and inventory control.
