Firmwide, our team advances sustainable design, utilizes ecologically friendly landscape palettes, and aims to celebrate local character and history through thoughtful design recommendations and selection of materials. We emphasize Low Impact Development and water-wise approaches to landscapes. Our team includes landscape architects who are Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professionals (LEED-AP.) Dix.Hite offices are located in historic or walkable districts, including our main office in historic Longwood, Fla., where our restored 1920s Bungalow studio office incorporates ?green? design and is a commercial pilot project for the St. Johns Florida Water Star program. The Atlanta studio is located in the vibrant Poncey-Highland neighborhood in the heart of the city, where a renovated 100-year-old historic home houses our light-flooded office. The Birmingham office is located in Five Points South, one of Birmingham's first streetcar suburbs, rich with landmark houses, churches, apartment and commercial buildings, among the city's finest and most distinguished architectural and historical resources.
