DiversiTech was founded in 1971 as an entrepreneurial venture dedicated to the design of lightweight concrete foundations for electrical equipment. DiversiTech continues that entrepreneurial spirit today with a focus on lightweight concrete products for the heating, ventilating, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVACR) industry. DiversiTech's premiere product is our UltraLiteTM lightweight concrete pad. UltraLiteTM has been used on tens of millions of air conditioning condensing units. It continues to be the preferred product of the informed consumer. But, DiversiTech is more than pads. Since 1975, the business has diversified significantly, and we are now a key partner with most major HVACR wholesale distributors. Our manufactured product lines include air conditioning disconnects, whips, access valves, line tap valves, chemical cleaners, line voltage monitors, electric motors, thermostat guards, anti-vibration pads, water treatment products, and most any item a contractor needs to effectively install an air conditioning or refrigeration system. In 1999 DiversiTech embarked on a further strategic diversification, and entered the consumer retail trade channel as a supplier to retail hardware and do-it-yourself stores. This strategic move has enjoyed significant success in the lawn and garden with our Original Grill Pad product. The Original Grill PadTM is manufactured using similar technology to that developed for the UltraLiteTM pad. In 2001 DiversiTech partnered with several knowledgeable and dedicated employees, and is now engaged in off-shore contract manufacturing through East West Manufacturing.
