What Is Diabeloop?

Nous voulons mettre à la disposition des patients atteints de diabète de type 1 un système thérapeutique intelligent visant à réguler le glucose sanguin à la place du pancréas défaillant. Ce projet va améliorer la vie quotidienne de plusieurs centaines de milliers de patients diabétiques en Europe, éviter plus d'une centaine de morts par an et des milliers d'hospitalisations. Il a été initié en 2011 par le CERITD (Centre d'Études et de Recherches pour l'Intensification du Traitement du Diabète) en collaboration avec le CEA LETI. Après le succès des essais cliniques de 2014 nous avons créé Diabeloop pour porter le projet sur le marché et en faire bénéficier au plus vite le plus grande nombre de patients. 12 CHU en France sont aujourd'hui impliqués dans notre aventure.
