What Is Delaware Dynamics?

Delaware Dynamics LLC is a World-Class provider of in-house designed and manufactured die cast tooling for automotive companies such as Ford Motor Company, Chrysler, General Motors located in Muncie, Indiana. Machining and engineering services with the latest CAD/CAM/CAE technologies provide for manufacture of highly engineered and complex tool assemblies ranging from transfer cases and transmissions to engine blocks and structural members. The latest technologies include thin wall, weldable die castings, and natural gas compressor and storage systems. Extensive manufacturing operations in excess of 155,000 square feet include Multi-axis high speed CNC machining centers, CNC turning, large floor type boring mills, CNC orbital EDM, Arc/Tig/Mig welding, non-contract measurement systems, prototyping, and process development. The die-casting research and development center's expertise provides for die sampling, process development services and production die casting capabilities with fully robotic cells for replicating customer die casting parameters provide customers with production ready tooling. Current tooling programs include the Ford Duratec V-6 engine block that utilizes Delaware's patented die locking system which is featured in the F-150, Mustang, Edge, Taurus, Fusion, and Explorer product lines. Delaware is also Chrysler's supplier of choice for designing, building and testing the tooling for its new 9-speed front wheel drive transmission.
