Davis Pickering and Co., Inc. is an electrical contracting company with a foundation of more than 65 years in the construction industry. We were incorporated in 1937 by Charles A. Pickering as Pickering Electric Company. We are committed to excellence in both the finished product and the construction experience, and dedicated to customer service. Our company\'s growth has been based upon successful ongoing relationships with our union construction employees, lasting relationships with repeat customers, and a bold willingness to meet the ever changing needs of our clients. Additionally, in 1998 we established American ProComm as a DBA of Davis, Pickering in order to build upon our developing competencies in the voice and data market. American ProComm provides voice, LAN and WAN structured wiring system design and installation utilizing the latest technology installation and testing equipment. We are an AVAYA Partner for voice and data products, and CISCO partner for data products. We provide engineering support to our customers when desired, and are capable of providing engineered solutions to our clients on a design-build basis, with AutoCAD drafting support for construction and as-built project documentation to your specifications. We continually strive to enhance our commitment to service and quality through continued education and certification in the newest technologies available to today\'s market. Davis Pickering\'s senior management has over 100 years of combined field experience and specialized training, bringing accurate cost and quality execution to each project and business venture. As members of the West Virginia Safety Council, we excel in our commitment to safety, exercising all applicable measures to implement a safety program second to none. Our company has a long history of safety success, and our safety record readily reflects our safety emphasis: our insurance rates, OSHA 200 logs, accident history, as well as our overall safety record are well below industry standards. We have extensive training programs - all employees hold the OSHA 10 hour safety card, all written programs are in place; daily, and weekly job-site inspections are conducted, accident follow ups, as well as other programs needed for compliance and, most importantly, to induce effective safety performance.
