What Is Dasher Services?

Dasher Services, Inc. was established in 1985 as a direct mail company. It was acquired by Sharon Ryan in 2009 with the goal to create a forward-thinking and community-focused business that helps people live happy and healthy lives. To that end, Dasher transformed from a shipping and mailing production line environment to a data-driven, customer contact, services operation. We specialize in moving confidential information that requires HIPAA compliance and other security measures, as well as rigorous quality assurance processes. Dasher is a woman-owned business certified by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC). Dasher’s core competency is helping organizations communicate complex information in the way that works best for their business needs. Our capabilities include: Face-to-face communication. Dasher’s professional and culturally savvy professional field teams already know their way around the community and can: * Implement regulatory–compliant outreach strategy * Provide health education, collect data, and observe performance of required services * Identify opportunities to collaborate with leaders of community-based service organizations * Create positive change by influencing people to think and act in ways that improve the quality and efficiency of the healthcare services they receive Customer/Member engagement strategies. Dasher’s call center and member engagement staff work to understand our customers and assist them through: * Closing HEDIS gaps by promoting the use of preventive health services available through the Medicaid program and educating users about the advantages of utilizing these services * Assisting callers who need guidance through our call centers and help desks * Providing back room support for application processing for professional licensure Secure, complex variable mailing services. Dasher currently produces over one million pieces of confidential, personalized correspondence and: * Adheres to applicable legal, regulatory, and industry standards and follows rigorous data and physical security procedures to prevent a data breach or HIPAA violation. * Provides 24/7 security, camera surveillance, and limited access systems. * Operates large-scale document creation and delivery equipment-- the same highly secure system used by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Revenue for issuing checks and certified letters.
