Dartington Trust is a centre for learning, arts, ecology and social justice based on a 1,200-acre estate in South Devon, UK.\n\nSchumacher College, Dartington Arts School, Dartington School for Social Entrepreneurs and Research in Practice are based here. As well as offering a broad range of learning opportunities from short courses to postgraduate degrees on site and online, we are also an organisation with national significance. Our agroforestry work is pioneering new sustainable ways of farming for the future, while Research In Practice provides services to three quarters of local authorities. \n\nAs a centre for learning for almost a century we have attracted a variety of leading artists and thinkers including potter Bernard Leach, composer Igor Stravinsky, cellist Jacqueline du Pre, musician Ravi Shankar, playwright Bernard Shaw and environmental activist Vandana Shiva.
