Damar Training is an award-winning provider of apprenticeship training and recruitment, specialising in business and office skills. Our goal is simple – to help organisations and individuals be the best they can possibly be.\n\nWe have a particular focus on professional services such as law and accountancy. We worked with large employers and sector groups to develop new apprenticeships in legal services and for the travel sector.\n\nHeadquartered in Stockport, we work across the North-West with a range of industry sectors and nationally with the legal and justice sectors. Many of the candidates who approach us are school and college leavers but apprenticeships are also for career-changers, people returning to the workplace and existing members of staff who need to develop their skills. Damar works with large employers who pay the apprenticeship levy as well as with smaller, non-levy paying employers. \n\nWe are a long-established, privately owned business with a strong heritage, and clear purpose. We are Ofsted inspected (grade 2 – good) and have a direct contract with the Education and Skills Funding Agency.\n\nMost of our delivery takes place in the workplace. We have a national team of experienced trainers and 1:1 support in complemented by off-the-job learning delivered flexibly vie e-learning, online and classroom-based group sessions and supported self-directed study.
