Every student at Cristo Rey Philadelphia High School works at a top business in the greater Philadelphia area during regular business hours. The money that students earn at work directly funds their rigorous College Preparatory Education. The innovative Work-Study model not only allows Philadelphia students to obtain access to a quality education but also allows Philadelphia area executives who believe in the importance of investing in the education of their city's youth an opportunity to do so. The investment is not only monetary. By welcoming students into their offices to do real work, the leadership and employees of these organizations become coaches and mentors who allow our students to develop technical and communication skills that will help them succeed in work and in life. 100% of Cristo Rey Philadelphia High School graduates have been accepted to college. Cristo Rey currently partners with 90 different companies. A team of 4 students shares 1 entry level job at our partner sites which include but are not limited to law firms, hospitals, financial firms, museums, real estate firms, engineering firms, universities, supply chain firms and telecommunications companies.
