Reaching out, caring for and building people toward maturity in Christ! In response to God’s grace evidenced to us through Jesus Christ, we commit ourselves as a body of believers… 1. To be a church whose primary purpose and passion is reaching the lost with the good news of life and salvation through Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:16-20). 2. To be a church who cares for people of all ages, seeking to meet their spiritual, emotional, and physical needs with the love of Jesus Christ (John 13:34-35). 3. To be a church which builds and encourages people’s faith through Christ-centered, Bible-based teaching (John 8:31-32). 4. To be a church with celebrative worship centered on God’s Word and Sacrament in a variety of worship and music styles in order to reach out to our community, demonstrate God’s care to His flock, and build people in their life and faith (Colossians 3:16-17). 5. To be a church filled with people where the blessings of God overflow in people’s lives as evidenced by their demonstration of Christ’s love, forgiveness, help, hope, and giving (Romans 15:13).
