Alan Cooper is a man with a mission. Outraged by the inferior and unusable products that are constantly forced upon long-suffering software users, Alan decided to do something about the problem. He founded Cooper Interaction Design in 1992 with a clear mandate: to conceive and design interactive products that give power and pleasure to those who use them. Alan's Cooper's pioneering consulting company quickly attracted a staff that shared his vision, and helped grow the organization into what it is today. Now our company is simply called Cooper. We are a professional consultancy organization, dedicated to conceiving and designing interactive products, services, and systems. Since we were founded, we have worked on hundreds of projects for clients large and small, from multinationals to start-ups. We design products that are technically feasible, operationally viable, and commercially successful. We have also trained hundreds of designers, managers, developers, and marketing professionals in our proprietary GOAL-DIRECTED® method.
