What Is Consumer Safety Technology?
Consumer Safety Technology was founded in 1988 by Kevin Doyle, Tim Moran and Scot Lewton. \n\nThe alcohol-specific fuel cell technology used in ignition interlock devices was developed by CST in conjunction with researchers at Iowa State University. The company’s mission is to make communities and roads safer for everyone. \n\nNow, more than 30 years after developing the initial technology for Intoxalock interlock devices, CST owns a family of brands that help people with different aspects of regaining their driving privileges. These brands include: \n\nIntoxalock: the #1 interlock brand in the United States, Intoxalock is approved in 46 states and has more locations than any other interlock provider.\n\nBreathe Easy: Breathe Easy assists drivers with obtaining proof of state-approved insurance coverage after a drunk driving incident. Breathe Easy works with multiple providers to find affordable coverage and helps drivers file their SR-22 certificate with the state.\n\nNew Directions: New Directions offers convenient, online assessments for use in court. Their assessments have an acceptance rate of more than 99% in court, and the company offers rush services for anyone in a hurry to meet court deadlines.\n\nADS Interlock: ADS is an approved provider in 31 states, and offers simple-to-use devices featuring bilingual prompts.\n\nDUI.org: DUI.org aims to help offenders through the entire process. The site has resources about interlocks, SR-22 insurance, DUI classes and treatment, and finding an attorney.\n\nDUICare: DUICare helps people with various tasks they must complete after a DUI incident. Their goal is to allow attorneys and treatment providers to focus on their tasks, while DUICare takes care of all the details.
