Hospice Compassus is comprised of a family of clinicians focused on compassionate care, regulatory compliance and patient/family/referral satisfaction. Hospice Compassus offers music and aroma therapy programs and oftentimes, trained volunteers provide patient support. Part of its volunteer program includes the Angel Program, which allows patients and their families to have a specially trained volunteer at bedside during their final hours. Since 1979, the affiliates of Brentwood, Tenn.-based Hospice Compassus have provided comprehensive end-of-life care and grief support for patients and families in their communities. Through their care, hospice patients are able to live their final days with peace and dignity in the comfort of their own place of residence.
