What Is Community Network Services?

Community Network Services offers the following services:Case Management Services: Community based support services that assist consumers with managing their mental illness and gaining maximum independence toward self worth and recovery. Psycho Therapy Individual/Group: Short term, time limited sessions that work to reach solution-focused goals that are established by the consumer. Substance Abuse Services: Include Therapy, Individual & group, prevention, education and Co-occurring integrated services for consumers with both Substance use issues, and Mental Illness.Family Psychoeducation: An evidence based practice in which consumers and their families/natural supports meet in multifamily groups twice a month. The goal of the group is to help families reduce their expressed emotion by using tools called "family guidelines" while at the same time problem solving issues so as to further the consumer's recovery. Dialectical Behavioral Therapy: DBT is an Evidenced Based practice that provides a comprehensive therapy program based on Dr. Marcia Linehan's research and design. The DBT Program at CNS treats individuals with severe emotion regulation problems who are often chronically suicidal individuals who may engage in self-harm behaviors and who qualify for the diagnosis of Borderline Personality Disorder. The Young Adult Program:YAP at CNS provides young persons between the ages of 18 to 26, opportunities for involvement in employment, education and training, socialization, substance use prevention and treatment, case management and housing assistance. Community Living Support: The department overall thrives to reach 100% placement for all referrals, in doing we face many challenges, budgetary, facility location and supported services. These services are provided through rental assistance and referrals, housing counseling, supported employment, community day programs, and Adult Foster Care facilities and specialized residential settings. We extend these supports to families and community groups. Visions Clubhouse: A Psychosocial rehabilitation holistic approach to providing services to persons with a persistent mental illness. The clubhouse offers services that are designed to improve the member's ability to become self-reliant, self-supportive, respected, and contributing members of society. It is voluntary, rehabilitative and recovery oriented with services that staff and members work together as colleagues to complete the work of the clubhouse. On Call 24 Hour Crisis Intervention: Professional crisis intervention services by telephone, and face to face interventions as authorized by CNS Psychiatrists.
