What Is Commercial State Bank?

Commercial State Bank formally opened its doors for the first time on February 7, 1921. The bank had nine original stockholders and was founded with a capital structure of only $50,000.00. Today, our capital and surplus is in excess of $10 million with deposits in excess of $100 million. In January 1960, three gentlemen purchased control of Commercial State Bank. In 1964, the bank moved to its present location in El Campo, Texas, and opened its first branch in Angleton, Texas, in February 1996. We are proud to open our second branch location in Fulshear, Texas. Commercial State Bank is here to provide quality financial service and participate in the development and growth of the communities it is located in. The bank is operated with family values and a Hometown atmosphere.
