CoMeT Solutions, Inc. (CSI) provides software-based solutions that accelerate innovation by enabling product simulation and simulation driven design. The CoMeT Design & Simulation Framework (DSF) provides a single coherent environment in which engineers can define and solve complex engineering problems - using virtually any CAD and CAE application - and manage all related models, processes and resulting simulation data. Based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, CoMeT Solutions was incorporated in 2001. Our core technology was developed at the Center for High Performance Computing at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, where company CEO Malcolm Panthaki and Dr. Walter Gerstle began their work on the CoMeT (Computational Modeling Toolkit) framework in 1994. Since its formation in 2001, CSI has completed custom software development for numerous partners in parallel with continuing to build and refine the CoMeT infrastructure. Air Force Research Labs and Sandia National Labs have been two such partners. The company's focus, since 2004, has been working towards a wider launch of applications based on the CoMeT DSF in the first half of 2006. We currently are conducting pilots and beta test implementations with major aerospace (satellite design), automotive and industrial machinery companies.
