What Is Colville?

Colville has provided arctic logistics services for many decades, dating back to the 1960’s when the company provided the Alaska base operations for the Canadian barge operations that brought seismic exploration equipment to Alaska’s North Slope along the MacKenzie River, culminating in the discovery of Prudhoe Bay. Since that time, Colville has worked continuously as part of the oil industry’s team of local contractors. Today, Colville’s family of companies provides essential supplies and services across the entire state from the North Slope to the Kenai Peninsula. The supply and delivery of fuel in Alaska is Colville’s core competency, with millions of gallons and millions of miles driven annually across the paved, gravel, and ice road networks of the state. We own and operate the region’s largest vertically integrated fuel supply, transport, storage, and distribution system. Additionally, Colville operates one of the largest public utility districts in the United States. Our Solid Waste service encompasses the Western Region and the Dalton Highway Region, including Kuparuk, Alpine, NPR-A west to the Ikpikpuk River, and down the Dalton Highway to Atigun Pass. The Colville Family of Companies include: • Colville Fuel & Transport | Bulk storage capacity of 4.3M gallons and a fully integrated chain of supply • Solid Waste Management | A Public Utility Service • Brooks Range Supply | Oilfield industrial parts & supplies • Brooks Camp | A new 338 bed, all single-status, man camp in Prudhoe Bay • Brooks Commons | Furnished or unfurnished office space • Colville Aviation | Airplane parking, fueling, and de-icing • Ben’s Towing | Industrial towing and recovery
