What Is Colorado Springs School District 11?

District 11 provides more choices for parents and students than any other school district in Colorado Springs. District 11 has 60 schools, all of which are working to serve students with individualized programs designed to meet their specific needs. D-11 has International Baccalaureate programs at the elementary, middle and high school level and programs like CORE Knowledge, Advanced Placement, a unique Gifted and Talented program, a comprehensive Career and Technology Education program and the only public Montessori program for elementary age students in the region. These are just some of the programs that are propelling over 80% of our students on to higher education and helping our graduating seniors receive more than $15 million in scholarships. That’s what’s great about School District 11. For more detailed information on our schools and programs, please request a Colorado Springs School District 11 Choice Booklet through the Office of Communications and Community Relations at 520-2162 or via e-mail at hinesda@d11.org.
