What Is Coleridge Initiative?

Coleridge Initiative is a joint collaboration between the University of Maryland, New York University and the University of Chicago. Its objective is to accelerate data-driven research and policy for program management, policy development, and scholarly research. One of the flagship offerings of the initiative is the Administrative Data Research Facility (ADRF) which provides a secure platform for agencies to host confidential micro-data,. The initiative also offers a training program in applied data analytics developed specially for public policy professionals. The curriculum is designed to train public sector professionals and researchers in cutting edge analytical skills. The program teaches participants in, among others, data management, record linkage, machine learning, text analysis, inference and privacy techniques by using real micro data to solve policy problems.
