Our history can be traced back almost to the date that Clinton itself wa s established as a town. Incorporated on May 15, 1851, Clinton Savings Bank holds the distinction as the first bank to open in the Clinton community.The bank was organized by a group of young, progressive and farseeing citizens, entertaining a keen concern for public good and firmly grounded in the belief that the individual generally must look to one's own industry and thrift for personal success.
