What Is CleanCo Queensland?
CleanCo Queensland is a new government-owned corporation that will own, operate and grow a portfolio of low and zero emission electricity generation assets to increase competition in the wholesale electricity market and put downward pressure on wholesale prices. CleanCo will commence trading on the Australian National Energy Market on 31 October, 2019. Our operations will support Queensland to achieve its 50 per cent renewable energy target by 2030 and weￃﾢ￢ﾂﾬ￢ﾄﾢll also support creation of jobs in the renewable energy sector.
