What Is Clarke Consulting Group?
Clarke Consulting Group (CCG) assists corporate clients to improve performance with strategies for leadership and internal cohesion across functional, cultural or geographic boundaries. Our goal is to enable clients to raise performance targets and address persistent performance issues by better mobilizing company resources. We work on cross-boundary integration and also on building leadership and management systems that may be underdeveloped as the result of barriers within the company. A strategy for cross-boundary leadership and cohesion is critical for a business that requires a high degree of unity to achieve its business vision and yet has significant barriers across internal boundaries. Our programs improve performance by:Training leaders to engage and mobilize the workforce around a unified direction. Leaders learn to communicate a consistent and meaningful message of where the company is going (vision), how it's getting there (values) and how individual activities can be more closely linked to the company's direction and priorities. A global leadership focus is the key to creating a workforce whose intentions and actions are fully aligned across boundaries with the "spirit as well as the letter" of the company's direction. This alignment can make the difference between an organization with performance disappointments and an organization that not only complies with the company vision but also proactively moves it forward. Opening up information flows across boundaries for critical knowledge and awareness. For example, information is the key to setting objectives that fully reflect the company's true potential. Setting the best objectives requires creating cross-boundary access to high quality information about customer and product opportunities, and ensuring that people in different parts of the organization combine forces to create the best response to those opportunities. Creating a unified working environment. We help leaders and managers create compatibility of decision-making processes, raise motivation to overcome functional or cultural barriers, improve mutual understanding and appreciation of competence across boundaries, and improve communication systems and skills. Improving productivity and focus. We work with leaders and managers to raise productivity by reducing effort expended on internal differences or on low-priority local objectives, and to redirect energy toward end goals and external customers.
