Citywide Home Loans was founded on December 7, 1998 by Steven J. Goorman as Citywide Funding. His entrepreneurial, dynamic, and determined style has grown the small broker company of just five people into the current sizeable corporation. Today, Citywide has over 700 employees and covers 12 states, and we still maintain our small company roots. Steve keeps his hand on the pulse of the company and still originates loans on a daily basis. He loves dealing with borrowers and believes that keeps him in tune with both the struggles and victories that his fellow loan officers feel. Citywide employees are a passionate and close knit group.
