Taylor, Texas is a city in the Austin-Round Rock Metropolitan area, just 29 miles northeast of downtown Austin. Highways 79 and 95 intersect in Taylor affording the city a strategic location on the eastern side of Williamson County, one of the fastest-growing counties in the nation according to Forbes Magazine. Williamson County and the Central Austin area are consistently ranked at the top of national and state, lifestyle and economic awards.
