The City of Ravenna, Ohio is located in Northeast Ohio, approximately 18 miles east of Akron and 35 miles southeast of Cleveland. Several major Interstates, I76 and I80 (the Ohio Turnpike), are only minutes away and easily accessible. We also enjoy close proximity to two regional airports; the Portage County Airport and the Kent State University Airport, as well as convenient access to Cleveland Hopkins International Airport and Akron Canton Regional Airport which are both less than one hour away. The County seat of Portage County, Ravenna is very much "Main Street, USA". Founded in 1799 and developed throughout the 1800s, Ravenna is a wonderful blend of 1800's architecture, century homes, and modern housing and industry.
