The second largest city in the County, Novato has a current population of 52,000 and covers 28 square miles. Novato’s geography is stunning with breathtaking views of the San Francisco Bay and the oak-studded mountain of Mount Burdell, permanent open space (30% of the city), protected hillsides, numerous creeks and waterways.
