The City of North Port is one of the fastest growing cities in the country. It is located in Sarasota County, between Tampa and Fort Myers, Florida. While its residential growth has spurred its rise as a young and vibrant city, its growing commercial and industrial base is distinguishing it as a choice business destination. North Port's manufacturing base is enviable especially considering that it is a fairly new city having been founded in 1959. It is currently one of the Best Places for Manufacturing in Tampa Bay (according to Southern Business & Development magazine), and is one of the Dixie Dozen. North Port has several prime development sites, ample sewer and water capacity and excellent interstate access via I-75. The Economic Development team is ready to serve and help North Port grow!
