City Fitness is Philadelphia's fitness authority, dedicated to building fitter and healthier cities through quality programming, community engagement, and expansionary business practice. With fitness clubs in Fishtown, Graduate Hospital, Northern Liberties and South Philadelphia, City Fitness - a locally owned company - has over 11,000 members and more than 100 employees. \n\nCity Fitness is regularly featured in television, print, and online media for its innovative marketing practice and community relations initiatives. In 2016 and 2017, City Fitness developed and executed #MyCityMoves - the world’s first wearable tech and social media-driven fitness competition. \n\nCity Fitness is a corporate sponsor of the Independence Business Alliance, and in 2016 established a partnership with Urban Roots and Connor Barwin’s Make The World Better project, donating over $40,000 to their work renovating public parks and collaborated on the design of an outdoor fitness facility on their Smith Playground project in South Philadelphia. \n\nCity Fitness will open its fifth fitness club, City Fitness Logan Square, in September of 2017, with plans to open its sixth, City Fitness East Market, in summer 2018.
