Church On The Street Revenue and Competitors

Since 1999 Church on the Street has been working to build meaningful friendships and live in community with the chronically homeless. We remind our most vulnerable neighbors that they are not alone, forgotten or dispensable. Our desire is for us all to claim our God given dignity through loving God and being good neighbors. This is Church on the Street's commission. If our primary purpose is to be for and with our most vulnerable neighbors, our secondary purpose is to help the church in this same task. To this end we actively engage pastors, students, lay persons, and activists in meaningful dialogue in order to give the church more insight into the plight of the poor and homeless. Through our "Center for Practical Theology" Church on the Street provides opportunities, training, and forums for discussing and acting on the paramount theological and practical issues related to poverty and homelessness.
