Through our 4 operating divisions: Retail Fuels, Commercial, Common Carrier, and Fleet Card, we supply fuel, lubricants, & propane to all of Washington, northern & eastern Oregon, and northern Idaho. Powell Distributing. For 5 decades, Ray E. Powell and the company he founded built a strong reputation for reliability, fairness, and exceptional customer service. When Gary and Annette Christensen acquired R.E. Powell Distributing in 1980, they affirmed their commitment to honoring Ray's legacy by retaining the name R.E. Powell Distributing. Under the leadership of the Christensen family, the company has grown, new businesses have been acquired, and hundreds of new team members have become part of the culture of excellence that Ray E. Powell established almost 80 years ago.
