Since 1973, Children's Council has been striving to make high-quality, affordable child care a reality for all San Francisco families. We provide child care payment assistance as well as free San Francisco child care resources and referrals for parents. In addition, we raise public awareness about the necessity of child- and family-friendly policies. Children's Council helps children grow, families work, and San Francisco prosper. Values All families and children should have access to high‐quality child care. Families have a right to make informed child care choices that reflect their individual and cultural identities. Our work is best accomplished through collaboration among staff, Board of Directors, families andchild care providers.
