For over 120 years, Child & Family Guidance Center has been dedicated to providing quality mental health services to children, adults, and families We proudly serve over 12,000 individuals each year throughout 8 North Texas counties, including: Dallas, Collin, Denton (new) Ellis, Hunt, Kaufman, Navarro, and Rockwall. Our Mission: To provide quality, accessible mental health services to strengthen children, families and communities. Our Vision: A future where all children and families have access to mental health resources needed to grow into healthy, contributing members of society. Our History: Established in 1896, Child & Family Guidance Center is a registered 501(c)3 not-for-profit corporation. The agency is the oldest child guidance center in Texas and 2nd oldest in the nation, serving over 12,000 individuals each year, including over 6,000 children. CFGC is a key provider and referral source for mental health and related services in North Texas. CFGC is dedicated to providing services to children and adults experiencing mental illness. We offer a wide array of all encompassing services including; ?Clinical Assessment, Psychiatric Evaluation, Case Management, Medication Management, Individualized Counseling Services, Family Counseling Services, Rehabilitation Services, Parenting Classes, Social Studies, & Divorce Education. ?CFGC is proud to say we have been a United Way of Metropolitan Dallas partner agency since 1924. We continue to provide the quality and standards of care that maintain this long-standing community relationship & remain dedicated to serving and meeting all of the mental health needs of our community.
