Catholic Schools Office Diocese of Broken Bay Revenue and Competitors

The Catholic Schools Office of the Diocese of Broken Bay is located in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. The Diocese of Broken Bay stretches from the Northern Beaches, to the North Shore and up to the Central Coast. It covers 2,763 sq kms and includes both bush and coastal communities. Symbolising our diocese is the lighthouse, based on the historic lighthouse at Barrenjoey whose light shines over the mouth of the Hawkesbury River, which divides the north and south of the Diocese. Under the guidance of the Director of the Catholic Schools Office, Peter Hamill, the Diocese is responsible for overseeing the management of 44 Schools in the area (36 Catholic primary schools and 8 Catholic high schools) and is made up of approximately 18,000 students. The Diocese was established in 1986 and is one of three Catholic Dioceses in the Sydney region. Bishop Peter A Comensoli is the Diocese's third Bishop and has presided over the Diocese since 2014. The education and formation of students in Catholic discipleship is at the heart of our Catholic Schools System.
