The Catholic Education Office Diocese of Wollongong is comprised of 38 systemic schools and approximately 16790 students. Collectively it employs over 2600 staff in a variety of full time, part time, temporary and casual teaching, administrative and support roles. Staff of the Catholic Education Office form an inclusive community committed to a system of schools of quality learning and excellence grounded on Christian values. Catholic schools are essentially a service to parishes and the local Church, the broader community and to parents/caregivers who are the primary educators of their children. They are called to be vibrant Catholic communities of faith and learning and to provide high quality education for every child based upon a sound Catholic anthropological and pedagogical vision that assists students to find meaning and purpose in their lives.
