Providing the most comprehensive human services reaching the eight counties of Western New York, our programs are effective. Just a few examples:The Tomorrow's Youth Today program, assisting with GED and employment, exceeded its contracted 2007 outcome of students placed in employment by 30 percent. The Housing and Supportive Services Program assisted 2,833 seniors with housing and related issues in 2007. Of the families involved in the Kinship Caregiver Program in 2007, a total of 90 percent reported that their family situations had improved for the better. We are efficient.For every $1 donated, Catholic Charities is able to leverage $4 from other funding sources. Catholic Charities is an excellent example of efficient stewardship. Catholic Charities of Buffalo strives to empower individuals, children and families to achieve and maintain meaningful, healthy and productive lives within their communities. We advocate for those in need - particularly those who are poor and most vulnerable.
