Our mission is to offer comprehensive behavioral care, with a diversity of specialized therapeutic treatments, through our multidisciplinary, multispecialty staff, including our on-site affiliate, Carmel Psychiatric Associates. We participate in most health plans and provide evening and weekend hours utilizing locations in Putnam, Westchester and Dutchess Counties. In the 30+ years we have practiced in these communities, we have emphasized brief treatment approaches, often utilizing a family-systems perspective. Specializations are offered in child and adolescent treatment, psychological and neuropsychological testing, marital and family therapy, sleep disorders, sexual disorders, and separation and divorce issues. We offer behavioral medicine and biofeedback services through our subsidiary, The Calmer Center. Carmel Psychiatric Associates provides medication evaluation and treatment for children, adolescents and adults. Staff affiliations exist with Putnam Hospital Center facilitating inpatient treatment if necessary.
