Cape Fear Academy continues to offer one of the finest comprehensive college preparatory experiences in the state as evidenced by the one hundred percent senior class acceptance rate to a college. Equally important is that eighty percent of the Academy's graduates complete college in four years. Our strategic plan includes a strong philosophy to "provide a challenging college preparatory program and a developmentally-appropriate curriculum within a stimulating learning environment. The Academy considers "scholarly achievement, character development, creative expression, and physical wellness the components of true excellence."It is important to realize the tremendous array of opportunities available for our small student body. This enables all of our students to experience strong success not only in the outstanding academic curriculum but also in the excellent cultural arts and athletic programs. Eighty percent of our student body will be a member of at least one of our athletic teams; ninety percent will either play an instrument, sing or act on stage and eighty percent will take at least one college Advanced Placement Course.
