Cain Travel Group, Inc. was founded by David and Linda Cain in 1985, and is the successor Company to Viking Travel, Ltd. which was established in 1975. Since 1975, Cain Travel has achieved a steady controlled pattern of growth. This growth has been sustained through an uncommon level of customer service combined with aggressive capital investment in technology and responsive human resource policies. In 1996, the U.S. Small Business Administration honored the company as Colorado's most "family friendly" business -- a competition based on corporate employee relations policies. Linda Cain, President of Cain Travel, was honored by President Clinton at a White House breakfast, and participated in the White House Conference on Corporate Responsibility at Georgetown University. President Clinton and Vice President Gore hosted the Conference. Cain Travel's success is in large part attributable to the management team which has been assembled over the years. This team, which is also being groomed to succeed the founders, has been intact since 1990 and is vested in the success of Cain Travel. Cain Travel is a closely held Colorado Corporation, with all shares controlled by the Cain Family Trust.
