CRRC is the world's largest Railway Transportation System Supplier, exporting to 110 countries and regions. CRRC produces high speed trains, mass transit vehicles, passenger coaches, wind power equipment, engineering machinery and more - to countries around the world including Brazil, Argentina, New Zealand, Hong Kong and now the United States with the establishment of its manufacturing facility in Springfield, Massachusetts. CRRC MA, with corporate offices in downtown Boston, will establish 150 hires to construct the first American rail cars designed and manufactured in the United States. This contract, awarded to CRRC MA in 2014, will include the manufacture of 284 Orange and Red Line railcars for Boston's transit system, the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA).
