COSON is an approved collective management organization for musical works and sound recordings in Nigeria. We ensure right holders earn royalties from the commercial exploitation of their works. We also encourage music users in commercial and/or public places to pay royalties for the works being used. As such we encourage road shows organizers, event hall owners, TV, radio stations, hubs, malls, lounges, hotels, clubs, restaurants and everywhere music in used commercial to get a licence from COSON or face the wrath of the law. Music is property and must be respected. To become a COSON member is easy and free.
