Center for Interuniversity Research and Analysis of Organizations. CIRANO is an interuniversity centre of research, liaison, and transfer of knowledge on the analysis of organizations. It provides access to the best researchers in this field to any firm or organization, private or public, seeking innovative ways to improve the efficiency of its activities. CIRANO brings together over 180 professors-researchers active in a variety of disciplines, including economics, finance, management, information systems, computer science and operational research, psychology, sociology, political science, law, history, and medecine. These researchers belong to eight Quebec universities from outside the province, in Canada, the United States, and Europe. Recognized internationally, they produce high caliber scientific work and publish in the best journals?over twenty of them hold research chairs.
