CEnet - Catholic Education Network Revenue and Competitors

CEnet is a not-for-profit services company supporting a large collection of Catholic education networks currently connecting school communities across metropolitan, regional and rural NSW, ACT, QLD, TAS and the NT. CEnet’s member dioceses share a common vision for a network and learning architecture suitable for the support of education and evangelisation in the digital age and have put their combined resources behind the development of centralised, managed services to deliver this architecture. \n\nCEnet's Purpose\nTo connect and support Australian Catholic schools as they integrate information and communication technologies in the provision of contemporary learning and teaching and evangelisation.\n\nCEnet's Key Activity\nTo procure and manage affordable, robust, scalable, standards-based ICT solutions, server and storage infrastructure and application services so as to provide a safe connected online learning environment for Catholic schools.\n\nThe consortium has harnessed specific telecommunications and application infrastructure and services to deliver an educationally-focused platform under an architecture that has been designed to maximize the benefits of a co-operative joint venture whilst maintaining a high degree of autonomy for individual members.
