What Is CDC Victoria?
CDC Victoria is a key provider of essential transport services to millions of commuters across Victoria. In Melbourne we serve the inner and outer western suburbs, including the fastest growing residential corridors of Wyndham, the Melbourne CBD and inner south-eastern suburbs. Across regional Victoria we serve the Greater Cities of Geelong and Ballarat and surrounding regions. We operate from 6 depots a fleet of 440 buses and coaches, and employ a total of nearly 750 employees, including over 670 drivers. Our bus services provide over 12 million commuter trips each year. In addition, we operate a thriving charter business that services thousands of patrons annually including schools, community groups, charities and sporting clubs. In November 2008, CDC Victoria acquired the Kefford Group of bus companies, with operations based in depots in Altona, Oakleigh, Sunshine, Werribee, Ballarat and Geelong. In Australia, ComfortDelgro Cabcharge is one of the largest operators of essential commuter and charter bus services in NSW and the only operator that holds Sydney Metropolitan and Outer Metropolitan, Rural and Regional, NSW Train Link and Sydney Trains Bus Services contracts. ComfortDelgro Cabcharge operates services via our Hillsbus, Hunter Valley Buses and Blue Mountains Transit brands. In Queanbeyan (regional NSW), the company operates the Qcity Transit and Transborder Express services. ComfortDelgro Cabcharge is a joint venture between the international Singapore transport giant ComfortDelGro and local company, Cabcharge Australia Limited. CDC Victoria has adopted the SPaRCQ Values framework that guides our business decisions and culture, namely SAFETY, PASSION, RELIABILITY, COMMUNITY and QUALITY.
