Bullseye Glass Company Revenue and Competitors

Bullseye Glass Co. was founded by three artists in 1974 to manufacture colored sheet glass for the decorative glass market. Producing originally for the stained glass trade, the company soon focused on the techniques of kilnforming and developed the world's first line of "Tested Compatible" glasses. In 1983 two of the founders wrote and published a book that detailed the testing process and documented the original research conducted at the company (Lundstrom and Schwoerer, Glass Fusing Book One, Vitreous Publications, 1983). Continued interaction with artists through its research and educational programs has resulted in a broad range of new or re-newed materials, methods and equipment from "tested compatible glass" to "painting with light" methods, to the "Australian Roll-Up", to the development of the vitrograph kiln. Working with artists - and specifically teaching artists - is central to the company's mission and the foundation of its continued growth.
