We are pleased to introduce the newest member of the firm, Kara D. Beverly, J.D., 2007. Kara is a recent graduate of Howard University and will work with the Litigation Practice Group, pending the results of the Ohio Bar exam. For over 16 years, Buckingham Cleveland has served the firm's clients in a variety of areas. Our attorneys are recognized as leaders in their fields, including business and corporate law, commercial litigation, employment and labor, health and medicine, real estate and construction, trust and estates, and workers' compensation. Each of these groups works diligently to assist their clients through a variety of complex legal issues. The Health & Medicine Practice Group's efforts are particularly noteworthy this past year. The group won a major nursing home negligence case that received national attention. They are also proud to serve as litigation counsel to HCR Manor Care, one of the largest nursing home corporations in the United States. Our Cleveland office is also committed to serving our community. In fact, our attorneys and staff provide countless hours of volunteer work to the communities that we serve. Many of our attorneys serve as directors on boards of nonprofit organizations, and our office as a whole provides support to many local charities. For example, we have ongoing commitments to The Littlest Heroes, a northeast Ohio organization that provides support to children with cancer and their families, and Achievement Centers for Children, a center of support and expertise for children with special needs.
