Vision:\nBrooklyn Community Services envisions One Brooklyn Community where everyone can realize their full potential.\n\nMission:\nOur mission is to empower children, youth, adults and families to overcome the obstacles they face. Together we partner with our community to ensure opportunities for all to access an excellent education, jobs, safe and affordable housing, quality health care and wellness programs.\n\nTo achieve this mission we offer comprehensive and holistic services in the following areas: \n\nEarly Childhood education;\nYouth Development and Afterschool programs;\nFamily Services;\nWorkforce development;\nCommunity living and life skills programs for adults with Intellectual disabilities and /or mental health concerns;\nHealth and Wellness programs; \nSupportive housing and shelter;\nAdult Basic Education and ESOL; and\nWe are on-call to provide disaster recovery case management and relief services. \n\nOur services evolve as we recognize and respond to the needs of Brooklyn communities. Through our work, including our advocacy for social justice and equity, we help to make Brooklyn a place where everyone will have an opportunity to learn, grow and contribute to ONE Brooklyn Community.
