Bristol Zoological Society welcomes 900,000 visitors, teaches 40,000 students and cares for 500 animal species each year at our attractions; Bristol Zoo Gardens and Wild Place Project. \r\n\r\nThe Society also leads ground-breaking conservation and research projects spanning five continents across the world. With nearly a quarter of all mammal species and a third of amphibians threatened with extinction, there’s an urgent need to safeguard our wildlife. From the forests of the Philippines to the shores of South Africa to right here in south west England, we work tirelessly with local communities to save wildlife, improve the environment and enrich lives.\r\n\r\nAs a conservation and education charity, we rely on the support of the business community and public to continue this important work.
