Our exhaust engineers do everything they can to perfectly optimise performance and acoustics in a limited installation space.\n\nAs an exhaust system specialist, Boysen produces manifolds, catalytic converters, particulate filters, silencers, exhaust flaps and trims. Complete exhaust systems for high-quality cars, commercial vehicles and off-highway applications are at the upper end of our technological know-how.\n\nWithin the scope of the technological shift within the automotive industry, we also manufacture completely new product groups for vehicles – regardless of the drive system.\n\nIn 1993 Boysen built the world's first local assembly plant for just-in-sequence (JIS) production and delivery of complete exhaust systems at Salching in Lower Bavaria. Since then, we have been continuously optimising this process, enabling us to constantly meet the increasing customer requirements in terms of lead time and number of variations.\n\n \n\nIt is based on a production network with sophisticated logistics and an innovative material flow. An integral component of the conveyor technology and thus at the heart of our JIS plants are Boysen's characteristic high bay warehouses. They demonstrate that Boysen is a system partner that gets to the point faster - and gets products onto the conveyor faster.\n\nWe aim for perfect production processes with consistent improvements in flexibility, automation and rationalisation. This enables us to meet automotive manufacturers' demands for increasingly small batch sizes and an increasingly wide range of variations.
