The purpose of Boston Light Source, Inc. is to provide a capable marketing, sales, service and administrative model for the manufacturers we represent and the clients we serve. Creating and maintaining customers is our goal. By definition and contract, we are manufacturer's representatives of equipment servicing the Architectural Lighting and Electrical Distributor/Contracting industry. Our marketing area is Boston, eastern Massachusetts and the state of Rhode Island. The companies listed on this website and represented by Boston Light Source are solid, reputable manufacturers that offer products that will be appropriate for their application. Most of these companies are recognized industry leaders that set design standard. Boston Light Source's involvement with some of the most exciting construction projects and design firms, instrumental in Boston's growth over the past 30 years, has provided us with a valuable base of project knowledge and product performance. This experience is the foundation for understanding the needs of our specifying community. Developing and maintaining this base, and communicating with you, remains our main mission.
